At 8 am the farmer who owns the ridge line 300 yds from my stand decided to bush hog his thickly wooded ground cover. The second day of hunting is when things went south. Many does and smaller bucks ( less than 140 score) passed through all within shooting range. I was in a stand overlooking a food plot stationed 300 yds off a wooded ridge line.
This hunting trip consists of 3 days of hunting. Unfortunately the hunting accommodations were sourly lacking. The staff, amenities and food were perfect, very kind and welcoming. I had the recent pleasure of booking a whitetail hunt for opening weekend of gun season in November 2019.
